Hasselblad H Series
The Hasselblad H2 is constructed using solid stainless steel housings and a light-weight, high-strength aluminium for the inner core, guaranteeing a both reliable and durable performance, whether in the studio or in the field. The result is a lightweight, compact design that is ideal for hand-held photography, without sacrificing the sturdiness and quality needed for professional, tripod-bound shooting.
Large format digital capture
The Hasselblad H2 camera uses an optical format allowing for advanced digital capture with sensors more than twice the physical size of today’s 35mm sensors. The sensor can therefore hold more and larger pixels, which secure a high-end image quality in terms of high fidelity colour rendering without graduation break-ups even in the brightest highlight areas and with low noise in shadow areas.
Full range of high performance lenses
The Hasselblad H2 lens program is designed and engineered by Hasselblad to meet the highest optical specifications. H System lenses cover a wide spectrum of focal lengths and feature the fastest and most precise 645 auto focus system there is today.
Superior viewfinder
The viewfinder is the most important interface between the photographer and the subject. The large and bright viewfinder of the Hasselblad H2 camera shows the image crisp and clear, letting you work even in dim lighting with perfect results.
Advanced exposure control
The exposure can be controlled either by sophisticated exposure automation or with full manual control.
Customisable
To make the camera suit specific requirements its design includes over 25 functions that can be tailored by the user.
Programmable
The Hasselblad H2 features four buttons that can easily be programmed as short cuts to the most used functions of the camera. This allows you to instantly reach your favourite function by the click of a button.
Profiles for simplicity and safety
Stressful situations demand a fool-proof way of making these changes and so the 'Profiles' function was adopted. The profile is actually a memory where all settings in the camera can be stored with one click of a button. This memory can later also be recalled by a click of a button. This saves you time, but perhaps most important, it prevents mistakes from happening.
